Free & Reduced Price Meals
As you may already be aware, breakfast and lunch are now FREE for BVSD students. Students will receive a full breakfast, along with one entree (with unlimited salad/fruit to accompany the entree) for free each day next year. Even though lunch is now free, it is still very important that families complete the Free & Reduced Price School Meal application, as it waives and reduces fees (including athletics/activities and school technology fees) district-wide for many families, can impact transportation for some families, and impacts important funding for individual schools. It also qualifies some families for a 50% reduction in Lifelong Learning tuition, and waived tuition for BVSD Online classes (excluding the $50 registration fee). Child Care families will continue to apply for financial assistance through the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP).
If you are unsure whether you qualify for the Free & Reduced Price School Meal program please see the eligibility chart on the right side of this page.
Once you are logged into your portal account, check your message center inbox for a Free & Reduced Price School Meal program notification letter. Within the letter is a link to a form you must fill out to share your status with your school(s). If you do not have a letter in your inbox for the 2024-2025 school year, please click here to sign into your Infinite Campus Student/Parent Portal to fill out the Free & Reduced Price School Meal application. (Alternatively, you can go to www.bvsd.org and click on Parents then Apps then Infinite Campus Student/Parent Portal).
PLEASE NOTE: An Infinite Campus portal account must be created if you do not already have one. To request an account, go to www.bvsd.org, click on "Infinite Campus Student/Parent Portal", click "Help", then click on the link that says "If you do not have an Activation Key, click here". If you continue to have problems accessing an Activation Key for your student(s), please contact the registrar at your student(s) school.
